10/23/06 - Presentation on Improving the Design of Medical Products for Older People at the 2006 Aging by Design Conference at Bentley College.

08/18/06 - Marc Drucker and Dr. Michael Cantor are selected to present at the 2006 Aging by Design Conference at Bentley College. Their presentation; 'Improving the Design of New Medical Products for Older People Using a Team Approach' focuses on the integration of healthcare specialists into the product development process. The presentation will introduce principles they've developed to design usable, acceptable, home healthcare products. They will discuss how their team approach to designing products is critical in today's healthcare market, when the return on investment for home healthcare products is unclear, and when there are no obvious models or benchmarks.  

06/07/06 - Marc Drucker chairs the MDG Forum on Human Factors: The Challenge of Designing Medical Products for Patient Safety. Other participants include Michael Wiklund of Wiklund R&D, Michael Mendelson of the FDA, and Beth Loring of Bentely College Design and Usability Lab.

04/20/06 - Newlogic designed DaveK umbrellas are selected by both Bloomingdales and Takashimaya for sale in their flagship stores in New York City.

11/09/05 - Qualcomm announces the reference design Marc Drucker developed while President of Gad Shaanan Design. This innovative handset appears as a fully featured mobile telephone, yet morphs into an interactive device that helps consumers track and communicate medical, health and wellness information.
